Jeff Throneburg

VP Quality Assurance Technical Services
Jeff started his aviation career in the United States Air Force as a C141B maintenance technician. While in the Air Force Jeff was selected for Special Ops as a flying crew chief and also crossed trained and worked C5B and C130 aircraft.

After completing his military service Jeff worked for American Airlines affiliate, American Eagle, first in heavy overhaul maintenance and then Line Maintenance on Metro III, Jetstream 32, Saab 340, Shorts 360, and ATR 42"s.

Jeff joined Midway Airlines Corporation and worked Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, and finally Midways Powerplant Manager responsible for the tracking, repair, and overhaul processes of Midways Fleet(s). He has worked Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, and finally was Midways Powerplant Manager responsible for the tracking, repair, and overhaul processes of Midways Fleet(s). Jeff represented Midways aircraft during heavy maintenance visits in various facilities for C-Checks and other required heavy maintenance visits. Jeff also worked acceptance for new and used aircraft inducted into Midways operation including Airbus A320, Fokker F-100, Bombardier CRJ-200 and Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

Jeff has served on numerous aircraft acquisitions and manufacturers Maintenance and Inspection review panels, including the Airline Design Committee for the MD-95 and the rewrite of the Rolls Royce Tay Engine maintenance program. Jeff has worked closely with engineering group and overhaul shops to improve processes and expedite repairs and services.
